I was born in Chicago and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. I attended Salisbury School, an all-boys boarding school in northeast Connecticut. I went on to Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland before transferring to and graduating from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. While in college, I majored in political science, met my future wife, Lisa, and played four years of varsity lacrosse. After graduation, we moved west to Hood River, Oregon, and then later moved to Portland. While there, I earned a masters in education from Lewis and Clark College. For the next several years, I taught 3rd grade in Beaverton, Oregon.
After 8 years of teaching, I changed careers and became a licensed Realtor in the state of Oregon in 2007. My family and I currently live in Lake Oswego. My wife, Lisa, works as a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Neighborhood Health Center. Our 21-year-old son, Nolan, attends RPI in New York and plays on their men’s lacrosse team. Our 16-year-old daughter, Abby, is a 9th grader at Lakeridge High School where she is on the ski and lacrosse teams.
My wife and I have now lived in Oregon for over 28 years and proudly refer to ourselves as Oregonians. When I am not selling real estate, I coach skiing at Mt. Hood, work out at my local gym, and attend a lot of boys’ and girls’ lacrosse games. My family and I also enjoy many outdoor activities such as wingfoiling, downhill skiing, mountain biking, golf, and hiking.
